Locking Compression Plates for Fracture Fixation

Locking plates provide angular-stable fixation in which threaded screw heads lock into corresponding threaded plate holes, forming a fixed-angle construct. This design preserves periosteal blood supply, resists screw toggle and is particularly valuable in osteoporotic, periarticular and comminuted fractures where conventional compression is unreliable.

This range spans anatomically contoured plates for the proximal and distal extremities, straight and reconstruction profiles, and combi-holes accepting both locking and cortical screws. Implants are commonly manufactured in titanium alloy or surgical stainless steel, offering biocompatibility, corrosion resistance and low-profile designs to minimise soft-tissue irritation.
